There were no adsense ads on my webmaster blog yesterday and the preview tool said "there are currently no ads available". Today, all of the ads (keep in mind this is a webmaster news blog) were targeting "veterans" and people with "stress". They were not public service announcements (selling meds, insurance, etc.). I'm trying to filter them out to see what happens. What is Google doing?

Judging by the few threads I've seen around on a similar tack, it suggests there is some updating to the backend systems happening.

I wouldn't worry about it -- sometimes what you're seeing on your computer won't be what others will be seeing, either. I get all kinds of odd things going on with my google ads, especially when I'm working on the site. Used to get just like you are now but got so used to it I just shrug it off now. I'm sure they're "on it".

Last night I was stunned, though -- went to check my stats for the day and while I had an earnings number showing, when I clicked on my ad channels to see which one's performed the best, every channel said zero! So they must have been working on something. I know they're setting up a new feature where you can make changes to your code right in your admin panel thus not having to follow up with swapping out your code on all your web pages -- just a quick change in your account will change all the code across your site. It's in beta; maybe that's what's going on right now.

fitnfree hit it right on. Wait a day or so and all will be good in the land of google. this last week I know almost everyone had an issue or two with their ad channels.

My blog is showing ads now, but they all seem to be about YOGA??? There is nothing in my blog to suggest it has anything to do with this subject. I guess they still have some kinks to work out.

Hopefully they will get their act together soon. As of now they are the best paying ad company for me.

I agree that it's the best paying ad company, but are you seeing a ton of irrelavent ads now as well?

It sometimes happens.

During many, many years in, at or around IT/Web Development/Webmastering I have learned that the majority of issues tend to resolve themselves if you only wait for a few minutes/hours/days....
