I think he was talking about Widget Bucks program but used his referral link in the post. They are the one paying $25 for just registration.

I have registered with them and am quite happy.

I dunno.... Chitika uses the same model - most publishers report very, very poor earnings with it. Is this site any different?

I also want to know more about widgebucks from the people who have been using it. After getting the 25$ on signup how much are we getting paid? will our earnings suck after that?

I only use widget bucks on product specific sites. If you use widget bucks for sites like health care or puppy training you will be disapionted. If your site is about cell phones or other related products in Widget bucks data bank then you will be in good shape. On the sites I placed widget bucks I do see just as high a ctr as adsense and about double the ppc. Like I said it depends on your niche and site layout. You can always use widget bucks and adsense on the same page.

The price varies based on what category you select for the adverts.
So "books" doesn't pay as much as "gaming accessories" and "gaming accessories" doesn't pay as much as "wide-screen Tv's".

You have to find a balance between the products that will interest your visitors and what the ads pay.

I have been running widgetbucks along side adsense replacing some of my lower performing adsense blocks and i'm pretty pleased with it. they have had some problems with stats tracking recently, But it hasn't been too bad. I'm just waiting to see if it get paid, If i do i may stop using adsense and use widgetbucks only.

Apparently widgetbucks as been banning publishes before they payout.

If you heard it from widgetbucks it's true.
If you read it on a blog it's possibly true.
if you read it at digitalpoint it's almost certainly untrue.

the best place for an answer would be widgetbucks themselves.

They had some very questionable marketing techniques, so it wouldnt suprise me if it was a bit of a con !

WB$ allows non-US sites to show their ads, as long as that site meets their terms of service.
