What should i pay attention if i join in Google Adsense?

Hi all,
We have a website,( http://www.uxcell.com ), and the traffic flow is near 10,000 per day. The PR=4, and the rank is near 20,000, i check it on alexa.com .

However, the real thing i want to know is if i join in Google Adsense, what should i pay attention to? What ads should i put on my website? And how much the Google should pay for me?
Someone have any suggestion ,please don't hesitate to inform me.

I know "Adsense is contextual", but what i worried about is i run my bussiness on my site, if i put the competitiveness ads on my site, it will be disadvantage to my owe bussiness.

You can block advertisers should the need arise.

But if you aren't confident your site will sell products, don't have adsense on it!

You have got a great amount of traffic. Try putting adsense ads on your site and experiment. If you do not make the money that you expected you can just stop.

BruceLin, I have three questions for you:

1) Are you out of stock on everything in your store and in a position where you can sell no more?
2) Are your employees maxed out from a productivity point of view?
3) Are you prepared to see competitors get your business, even if you do manage to filter some (you won't get all)?

If the answer to any of those questions is no (and likely at least one of them will be), then you shouldn't put Adsense on your site. It's a sales site. Sell your products first, and if there's still a need, then put Adsense on.
