Since like half the threads in this forum are deleted - yesterday was Spam Day - I want to start a new conversation and help push them off the page. See if we can find something interesting to talk about.
You guys are going to laugh me out of town, but right now I might have to say Field of Dreams. There's just something I love about old-school baseball. I don't know if it's the tradition or what, but the movie has this bitter sweet, memories of childhood thing whenever I watch it. It's really good. It's super cheesy, too, but who cares?
K, now that I've embarrassed myself, it's someone else's turn.

I would have to say pulp fiction, although I have many favs; you like baseball? What’s your favorite team newbie? I can relate to childhood baseball when I was young my dad gave me a baseball signed by Mickey Mantel, I have been a die hard Yankee fan ever since.

I really liked the movie 300 and The Pursuit of Happiness.
I'd suppose they are definitely two of my favorite movies. Big Fish is also up there, along with many others, including The Lord of the Rings series.

Are you messing with me?
When I was like 9 my Uncle Joe took me to my first game at Yankee stadium, gave me a cap, and dubbed me a Yankee fan for life.
There's just something classic and vintage about the Yankees. Mickey Mantel and all of them, a super long tradition, respect up the wazoo, and a team that can run circles around the Red Sox any day of the week. To be honest, though, I think half the reason I love the Yanks is how watching them brings back childhood memories of being with my family.

There are so many good ones to name. I like Jerry Bruckheimer films, for example Con Air and The Rock.

I don't have A favorite movie, nor do I have A favorite genre. Too many movies, too little time..... There's lots of 'em that I like.... of course, there's lots that I don't like, too.

Not funny 'ha-ha', funny queer.
;P
Anyway, I've got way too many favorite movies but some of the ones I always think of: The Goonies, Indiana Jones, Star Wars (EP 4-6), Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Can't wait for OoTP!!), Bil and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
Knocked Up is definitely a new favorite of mine.
Otherwise I'm big on comedy, action, and war movies.
Not too big on gore movies, but I do enjoy some thriller/suspense.

Wow..very difficult question..but since i can't define favorite one, nor top5..i would say one of the favorites that first cross my mind..
So lets say...Elaphant Man from David Lynch and Saw.

Stray Dogs, Mary Reilly, and The Hunt for Red October.
Sean Connery is stunning in this movie.
Well, like in almost any other he has done, except for " The avengers"...
