The net is a big place with room for everyone. Sniping about a group of people is very petty and makes you sound like a whiner. If you don't like them, stop talking about them. You are just making people curious as to what all the fuss is about.

You don't need to create someone who knows everyone or everything. See the reality. Instead of making excuses and being a whiner, you need to be sorry for those victims.
DP is a DumP, full of scammers, spammers, racists, idiots and problematic people. That's the fact. And you cannot change the fact. That's all.

I have tried helping people on DP in the past. But, it was getting too bothersome to search thru the crap posts to find legitimate ones that actually needed help. Quality posting is getting rarer and rarer on that forum. Too many people on that forum only care about rep, itrader, and post count. Plus, their P&R section is totally out of hand. I have no problems with the General section, but politics and religion has absolutely no place on a webmaster forum. It's like a freak show with people trying to get the most shock value from their post so they can get that extra .01 cent for revenue sharing. Now, I only visit DP occasionally to check out the freebies section (after I wade thru the endless and worthless "stumble/digg for rep" posts).
Overall, WT is great. You may not have the #'s that DP has, but your quality threads are 100X more abundant. I've learned more here in 1 week than I did there in 6 months. Thank you.

Digital Point is the worst forum ever invented. Not only does it cater to spammers and paid posters. But it also favors the people who stuff others peoples pockets with money.

It is the variety and the authority of the contents and the traffic that gives the edge to the dp forum

I'm having a ball going to each site on that Stumble Trade list, voting them down, and leaving a review saying "this is spam" and pointing back to the DP page proving as much. That's the thing about being stupidly unsneaky when you're trying to cheat. Sure, you get a bunch of losers to help you, but you also run the risk an honest person might see what you've been up to and have their sense of morality offended.

Yeh is that you L.N.? Seen him around a few times.
UPDATE: the user says that they are 34 and from Washington. Seems less likely, unless it's purposely incorrect to hide your identity
UPDATE #2: actually, looking at the stumbled posts, it probably is you (i.e. the review of Conservatipedia lol)

And if it is you how come you won't return me as a friend? I'm feeling lonely. I have to cry myself to sleep at night every time I log into StumbleUpon. Oh the rejection.

I have used DP for about a year and a half on and off I think and it is a great forum but it does have its problems as do all forums. As far as trading going if you have something to buy sell or trade I dont think there is any other forum that could even come close.
Thing is alot of the posts on there are simpley made for people to increase there post count you get loads of, "yeah I agree" or "what he said" with no real need for the post as it is not actually expressing what their opinion really is on a matter.
I find of late if you need help with something your stuck with there are not many people on there who are prepared to help you, simpley as the majority of the people on there are using it just to make money and run up their post count for some reason. They never used to be like that when I first joined they were brilliant for getting help with things your stuck on but the quality of the users on there has gone down hill a bit due to the trading section being so successful.
I think what made them do well was they were probley just lucky enough to get a few guys on there who were good traders and then got a good name for it being a really good site for trading webmaster type services and goods. I think what also really helped them out was the coop website network they run as it used to do really well, not sure how well it is going now, but when I first joined it was booming.

Stumble Upon a very large if not the largest social bookmark website where people join and just look at random websites, pages and rate wether they like them or not, you can find some really cool stuff on there, but you also get the annoying spam on there now and again, it is designed quite well so spammy pages are not to much of a problem though.

Yep, and I got a negative review from one of the people who went back and edited the Digital Point post.
Frank Nitty was a Sicilian henchman of Al Capone's. You would think that has to be obscure enough no one else would take it as a pseudonym, but it shows up in a lot of rap music.
Don't tell anybody, but I'm the son of Russian immigrants from north of Kiev ( which explains my avatar) living near Fortuna, California. Everything on my public accounts is fake. They ask you for your marriage status, sexual orientation, and a million other things that, on principal, should not be made public.
There's a Calvin & Hobbes cartoon strip where Calvin buys a pack of gum, and it has a survey inside. So he goes to work answering it, telling them he spends $500 a week on bubble gum, and garlic is his favorite flavor.

I do visit DP often but only for business deals because there isn't any other place like it that can allow me to buy (or sell) webmaster goods and services. I'll definitely dump DP the moment I can find a viable alternative but at the moment, this is the only place to be if you want to earn a living off the Net. Its like smoking...you know its bad for your health but you still keep doing it. Why?
