Themodem, pronounced “Themodem” or some people call me modem.

Years ago I was thinking of a username for my hotmail account but all the ones I chose were taken so I thought what is obscure and no one will have.

After using it for a while it became all my usernames, no one else has it and its easy to spell and fast to type

Jawfish

This name derived from my favorite past time, scuba diving! The Yellowheaded Jawfish is a tiny little fish that lives in burrows, like fire gobies. They're not very skittish and have an interesting trait - the male jawfish incubates eggs in his mouth, turning them over occasionally, until they hatch. Here is a peak:

These little guys are one of my favorites and I often spend a majority of my underwater time searching them out and observing them. They are very fun and will actually come ut and say "Hi".

So, hence my nic - Jawfish!

Interesting Horus..I am particularly tied to Isis myself. <asks for forgiveness for any typos as it is New Years and I've been hitting the beer> Hence my avatar of Isis. As for Victoria...well as if that isn't obvious. I never liked the nicknames. I've always been particualr to my real given name. If you notice however my yahoo? It is whyabutterfly1. The one came because I've become abscent minded in my old age and forgot my password of ancient years and they have never released my original email account so I had to add the one. Whyabutterfly means that you never know what you are going to get when you come out of a cocoon. Other than what you are supposed to become. So when one asks...the answer is..why a butterfly of course..exactly what your intended to become at that moment in life. <deep> I know but wysiwyg with me.

Mine started with adoloscence (hope i got the spelling right). Well, I was about 15 then and wanted to get on the "Chat Rooms". So I thought about a real inviting id, so came shashank_hi. By the Way, shashank is my name ;-).

Susumuke (soo-soo-moo-key) is a nickname I got from WaHoOoO! (we're friends) from an unfortunate mistranslation. While working on a project with him, I needed a nickname for myself, and he suggested Susumuke. I've used it ever since.
