Here is a short list of some ones I use.

To build a custom list of top ranking sites visit Yahoo or Google and then do a keyword search for the terms "Free Classified." And if you want to get deeper add the terms "post" or "add".

Make sure to check the Alexa ranking on the websites you're placing ads on... start with the most popular websites first (obviously craigslist).

Try googling the term 'free classified', lots of sites will come up, depending on what you want to advertise quite a few should be useful

Argh well apparently mods are not reading what I'm posting, so I cannot advertise.
I'll tell you now that there are sites like it, but the top 20 alternatives still do not generate as many views as Clist does, so stick with Clist.
