True. No matter which name I choose about 60% of you won't like it because you either like the other name or neither of them. ePressive LLC is already my registered corporation name. I was just considering changing it.
I could change to something new all together but I happen to kind of like both of the names.

have already found a lot of good information to help me with my own
business. Since the purpose of this website is obviously to help others who
are trying to make money I think the name should say that clearly.

I'd alternate between the use of just eMonetized and using your name with it, depending on use. But the tag line, monetizing the Web, doesn't ring true to me. I don't want to monetize the Web; I want to monetize my wallet! How about, "Making the Web work for you" ? You have to think like a Schwab....

It's your Web. Monetize it.
That way you can repeat monetized, but it's, well, catchier.

I kind of like that tag line. But it sounds awfully familiar?

Ok its not all that serious I just like it better.

I try to run an ethical company. I want a lot of things in life but one of those is to be able to support my family and live a comfortable life. In order to do that we all have to make money. There is nothing wrong with wanting to make more money as long as you remember your priorities.

It depends on the website contents, I think the ePressive is very well suited to a webdesign maybe a web services company that provide a product, and the potiential customers bsub conciously think that they will have a good product which is impressive!
However i also have to take another stance, is e*word* a little 90's?
While i do like ePressive for the reasons above i do think it sounds a bit retro and could also make users think of the opposite of a impressive website and now i think about it im thinking of a webpage made in 95 which has never been updated and has colored backgrounds *shiver*
But if i had to choose it would definatly be ePressive, but its important to get actual customer feedback (if your in the service industry with your website)...

I think one of the reasons my decision is hard is because of what I do. If I was a web design company then ePressive LLC would be my obvious choice.
However, I'm not a web design company. I don't have clients nor do I want any clients right now. My company makes money by selling advertising on websites such as this forum. The majority of my income comes from affiliate marketing (sending leads and referring sales to other companies). I don't even put my company name on a lot of my affiliate based websites because there are to many people that will copy and steal your landing pages etc.
My business is in business to make other companies more money, who in exchange, send me a commission. Basically my business is a marketing and advertising company. I market other companies products and services.
So in that case, I feel eMonetized is more appropriate. My blog (which I don't update to often lately) is about helping others learn how to make money online. I agree that the tagline needs to be changed. I understand that there will always be people that associate "making money online" or "affiliate marketing" with something unethical or scammy. While that is certainly out there, not all of us are in that camp.
In any case, I still have not made a final decision. I do appreciate all the great input!
By the way, choosing a $20 winner is also really tough because all of your input was great! It's pretty much a draw between Vangogh and serandfae. It's not much, but I'll send both of you $10. PM me your paypal.
