Some Guidelines:

When creating signatures, don't just insert the link at the bottom of every post, go to UserCP > Settings & Options > Edit Signature, and configure your signature from there.

To insert an image into your post, click on the image icon () and enter in the image's URL.

Do not duplicate the same threads or posts to multiple forums, cross-posting is considered a for of spam. If you feel you posted in the wrong place, report the thread you created.

To report posts that use bad behavior, spam, insults, etc. Click on the tiny flag icon () in the top right corner of the postbit, right next to "permalink".

You need five posts to gain PM access, and 15 to ask for a web hosting request, and posts in the link exchange forum do NOT increase your post count, so don't freak out if these features are not available to you right away.

Link Drop = Dropping a link or creating a thread for the sole purpose of promoting and linking to your own website, don't do it.

When requesting coding help, use code tags like this, it makes receiving help much easier (be sure to delete the spaces between the word code and the brackets though):

Alternatively you can replace the word "code" with "PHP" and "HTML", depending on the code. Some members have been known to get agitated over the fact that it is difficult to read your code with just plain text.

You can view how many times you want to each member has posted in a certain thread by clicking on the number. Go here to find out the details:

Good resource. Each community board has its different "quirks" and it's nice to have a quick reference to stay within the guidelines.
