I was going to keep this in the suggestions and feedback forum, but the Edit button seems to be disabled there after a little while, and to keep it updated without reposting the hierarchy every time we agree on making a few small changes:
http://www.webmaster-talk.com/sugges...-yep-even.html
So I figured I'd move it here so everyone can have a say of new boards, titles, etc. they'd like to see added, changed to the lineup. And here is the hierarchy, so feel free to edit this post (This only applies to admins and mods though, obviously, as they are the only ones who can), or else just suggest some more in this thread and I'll change it.

Wow - it looks organized! I'd maybe suggest putting .NET under ASP, more like this
Quote:
Coding Talk- HTML Forum

- PHP Forum
- CMS Forum
- ASP Forum
- JavaScript Forum
- Coding Forum
|
If not making it its own forum. I realize it doesn't have much activity tho.

I'm not sure about the coding languages, and what's involved with them, but I'll take your word for it

Looks good, but two questions:
Shouldn't Ecommerce and General Business Forum be in the Marketplace? Seems more appropriate.
I propose that the Fun Topics and Politics and Religion parts of General Discussions be named The Light Side and The Dark Side.
Join the Dark Side! Our parties are more fun!

Sorry Tim, have to disagree. The forum is for general questions about business and ecommerce, nothing is actually being sold or traded. (That's what the other ads, offers, and services forum is for )

I was just thinking that it didn't belong in the Website Design part. Maybe E-commerce and Blogging need their own category. You know, we artists just want our own little niche 'cause we think we're special.

So what do you propose it should look like then?

Well, like I said, I like the overall structure you've proposed. But I think that Blogging might just deserve its own category, like so:
Blogging Talk I'm sure there would be some other categories that could be added to it, as well. As far as the E-Commerce and General Business Forum, why not put it here:
Internet and Search Engine Marketing Talk - SEO Talk Forum
- Ecommerce and General Business Forum
- Miscellaneous Internet Marketing Discussion
Just a few thoughts. You've put a lot of thought into this, and I just wondered what you thought of these suggestions?
