Well, if they do get confused, you could always add a "WT" in front of their name (ie: WT News and Announcements)

Although I don't see what other threads could possibly be created there, or who would think of putting threads unrelated to WT in the "Suggestion" section (as regular members can't even create new threads in the "News" area).

(Take my forums for example, I think most people would know that suggestions for just the forums would belong there)

I think here the confusion arose because we have a place for site reviews and people started with their own sites in those forums. And there's other forums where they can ask questions about web sites. So, I guess some got confused.

It's probably something that we could live with and we could set the permissions so that only the Forum Leaders could start threads in the announcements forum (which might be set that way now).

Well, we do have the "Website Reviews and Suggestions" forum now, don't know if that wasn't there before, if there was any confusion without it or not.

Yep, it won't let me start a new thread there.

I'm starting to think that maybe we should make "Technology News" a new Forum of its own, not just a SF of the Computer Forum.

And probably move it back to community talk, so people will find stories about Microsoft, Firefox, et. al. easier.

One more idea, is the fact that the Web Design category looks a little small. You could move that into the code category and the other ones would go into the website and search engine one, so it'd look like this, since many of the topics can seem interchangeable:

Coding and Design Talk
  • HTML Forum
  • CSS Forum
  • PHP Forum
  • CMS Forum
  • ASP Forum
    • .NET Programming Forum
  • JavaScript Forum
  • Misc. Coding Forum (Maybe merge this with WD Forum)
  • Website Design Forum
  • Graphics Forum
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Jasc Paint Shop Pro
    • Photography
Website and Search Engine Talk
  • The Google Forum
    • Google Adwords Forum
    • Google Adsense Forum
  • The Other Search Engines
    • Yahoo Forum
    • MSN/Live Search Forum
  • Web Directories
  • Blogging Forum
    • Blog Themes
  • Website Review and Suggestions
    • Blog Reviews
