Hello,
I cannot withdraw my $510 (which is in my account) because the employer profile is not verified. so if the employer never verify their account you wont be available to withdraw money at all.

so here is my suggestion to all.
1. make sure employer profile is verified before you accept any award.

2. if they are not verified ask them to verify their account using https://www.freelancer.com/users/phoneverify.php

3. wait for employer's answer, if they said they have verified their account. verify if he is saying the truth by contacting the live support (due to caching we cannot see the status changes instantly)

i hope the employer who has paid me $510, i cannot get in touch with him since 10th july

You not the only one who is disappointed. Sometimes working on Freelancer.com seems like slave labour.

All work completed, but never get the money.

Freelancer.com also deducts the commission fee right away, Freelancer.com always gets paid not the Freelancer, wish they looked at improving their payment system to be more fair.

"seems like slave labour".

I mean if the work is completed and the employer is happy, surely Freelancer.com should protect the employee, is there no UN convention on this or something ?

I see lots of Freelancers with poor reviews, and unhappy employers. They take a milestone and never complete the work.

But they keep getting new work.

Maybe they have a magic wand ?

Freelancer.com support has much more recipes to cook up a reason for cancelling your withdrawal or suspending your account with money on it: a buyer from the same region as you, using an affiliate link to invite buyer/worker, unusual money amount deposited by the buyer, etc, etc. Nobody could count them all.
