I made a logo and I won a job offer. Initial milestone percentage required I chose 0%. So I sent a finished project to a private message. And what now?
I still did not add any data to transfer money.
Please help.

I wish I could answer your questions, unfortunately I can't. Has the employer tried contacting customer service asking for help?

Contacting customer-support@freelancer.com might be all good and well, but they come back with an automated response; "ensure milestones... verified ect".

Who exactly benefits when work is done and payment is not received ? Freelancer.com gets its money from us (employee) but the employer seems to get away often with slave labor practices.

Is Freelancer.com working on a new policy ? Anyone have some advanced tips on ensuring prompt payment and a good working relationship with employers ?

I'd highly recommend asking for an initial milestone. I didn't get paid for a couple of projects too. One of them even asked me to complete the project before he could accept my bid. As expected, once the job was done, he has stopped replying to my emails.

The only solution is asking for milestone. Any serious employer would understand that an initial milestone is important, and would be willing to pay 30-40% of the project cost upfront.
