Hello freelancers, I have a suggestion for every freelancer that is tired of bidding on projects which are either fake copies of original projects or are new projects which are fake in nature.

1: Report all the projects which are fake copies of the original projects. You can do that by searching the project name.

2: Report the project if you receive a captcha work pm.

3: Some of the captcha work people tell you to contact them so that they can talk outside the site report them.

4: Sometimes they are not captcha work people but referral harvesters for other sites.

Well If anyone has any ideas please share. I could only think about the 4 mentioned above.

I do this almost every day. As a freelance writer, my focus only on that niche.
A new way of spamming is to post an entire article as a project with no work
being offered.
I have lost count of the number of violation reports I have sent so far. The employers must be charged small fee upfront before they can post a project. May be, that is one way to curb the menace.

Some people posts same project at multiple times, and select the lowest bid.
Some people post big projects in very low budget.
What to do ????

Hello, I am new here & not to sound desperate, but I really need to supplement my income fast. :-) I have been applying for jobs that require me to type out a book in MS Word, but when they message me the job details, they are for these captchas. Am I understanding correctly that I should report these people? Seems these are all I am getting out here too. Nothing with the information the I have bid for.

Oh, is there a way to reverse the order of the posts? Thanks! :-)

I absolutely agree with this action. I focuse on data processing, data mining and I'm fed up with these fake projects. Every secound project related this field is fake. I report the violation every time, but as I realised the number of these fake projects are more and more..
Why the freelancer stuff can't do anything? I suggest to make a bigger fee of project posting after the secound, thirt etc, project within a short time...and maybe check our reports more often...I've reported a user many times but he/she is still on the site....
