I is getting really unbearable for me. I am losing my bids for this.
recently some captcha jerks are creating problems for the freelancers.

they post about word or excel jobs and after bidding they send message and tell to work on there captcha server.
most of the time you will receive message like this.

Well that is the main problem with most projects in the data entry,excel,pdf, data processing, virtual assistant and other categories.

To Avoid projects like these make sure that They are payment verified and have good reviews as employers. If they don't they are most likely captcha typing spammers. I wasted 20+ bids on projects like these. Now I close them immediately.

TEN dollars for TEN DAYS work, is why I gave up contracting, and why I never went looking for work on "freelancer" sites never mind actually bidding for jobs.

People work for 10$ for 10 days because they are desperate.

Most of the captca workers are from India,Bangladesh and Pakistan. Poor people looking for a way to earn money, since their own countries do not have a lot of Job opportunities or corruption.

I personally hate these projects since they copy the description of real projects and I have to find the real one by checking every single one e_e.

I'm new here and already getting a lot of these! I may be hard up for cash, since my husband left but come on now, I'm not THAT desperate! ;-) I am doing my part though, to get them outta here! I am reporting every single one of them. Maybe then we can all actually find some real work.

Help, ASAP! Not sure how to handle since job sent to me, it's not in my current work section yet though. What should I do??

Well if you're comfortable giving spammers help in annoying forum admins and moderators, blog owners etc by giving them ways to post porn. stolen mobiles, credit card fraudsters etc etc. by breaking CAPTCHA systems carry on.

i am from pakistan. i am new to site and this business also. i got similar replies from employers. i know at the very outset that these are some type of frauds. so its the duty of admin to take action.
1. trace that account
2. follow the path of money transferred (ofcourse one has few methods to receive money so block that person permanently.)

Oh dear freelancers, i have faced this type of projects many times in my life. At the beginning of my freelancing career, i was very happy to get the captcha work, but when i entered into their system, i find the work is not only time consuming but also it is too disturbing job. I hate this captcha work. Even also i have faced this type of projects now.

I have a simple suggestions for the new freelancers who really want to avoid the captcha job.

# Bid on the project where the employer has reviews.

# Ignore the projects where you can find the same name for more than one projects.

# Ignore the projects where the budget is very very high or not appropriate with the task.

# You can check also where the rated freelancers are bid. If you find only new freelancer then you can avoid that project too.

# Most captcha projects are posts on "writing and content" section.

# The captcha projects descriptions are all most same so you will understand if you read very carefully. Also they generally use the common language "New freelancers are most welcome" or " its n opportunity for new freelancers" etc etc...

I have shared some practical situations what i faced. Yes not all unrated employers are captcha party, you should be careful about bidding.
