This is your First withdrawal right?

Freelancer holds the First withdrawal for 15 days. You should not worry: they do some checks and then will process the withdrawal. You can expect to get your withdrawal processed anytime soon.

Yeah, it's amazing how freelancer can take money INSTANTLY when they wanna get paid, but when the little guy wants to get paid they need half a month to do.... NOTHING but hold your money for no reason. They play with your money, that's why you can't rely 100% on freelancer for income.

I agree with you Type108 but They do provide a secure and systematic service as a freelance site. For that I salute freelancer.com

For those who do not have many job opportunists in their country it is a ray of hope. Keep up the good work freelancer.com.

I have decided to never buy gold membership even if I get high amounts of payment from the projects so that I can help freelancer grow even stronger and better for all the freelancers in the world.

imadouna666 do not worry you will get your money in 15 days.

You should join the real world of self employed contracting where it might be THIRTY, SIXTY and sometimes NINETY days before you get paid when you have completed a contract.

Yeah except in the 'real world' you don't get started with anything without some down payment in your hand. At least in the US that's how it is. Good luck walking into any firm and expecting projects to be worked on with 0 down payment in hand

Such negativity will get you nowhere.
I believe the subject of the thread was about the 15 day waiting period for withdrawals from a prepaid account NOT walking into firms with the expectation of your projects being chosen without a "down payment" in your hand - which btw is unheard of...... Where in America do you have to "pay" a firm to choose your projects?

Be careful with this.
It will only take 15 days to pay you provided you leave sufficient funds in your account. If you have your funds pending transfer and then you have another bid accepted they will immediately subtract the fee for that bid from your account.
If by subtracting that fee you then have insufficient funds for that transfer they will put a stop on the transfer and only activate it again when you get enough money back into your account. At the point when they reactivate it they reset the timer and you then have to wait a further 15 days.

I know this because I'm currently going through that pain now.
I just wish that I knew this in advance so I could have avoided it. FAQa and T&C don't even give you a clue on that front

Well, normally I"m withdrawing via moneybooker. Recently I had to face for another problem..

I had a withdrawal to be processed on a certain day. But when that day comes, and when i look at withdraw page, i coudnt find that my withdraw, as well as money didnt reduce from my account.

No warning .. nothing!
So i decided to ask from customer support. then they said, its because my employer which who paid for me, his freelancer account is being suspended and being investigation. Until it solves, i cannot withdraw my money.. How inconvinient. It was a regular video project. as well as they are not ensuring me, that money is surely can withdraw by me. I'm really worried.

I understand, this is just to create safe, secure environment, but this is very big problem freelancers who has their main income as freelancing..
