Hello there,

I just signed up and am eager to do some freelance work.
Under my profile, it says i am "email-verified", "profile-verified", but not "payment-verified".

I'm afraid this might lower the interest any potential employers have. Is this true?

How do I become "payment-verified"? Does that only happen after I get paid for my first gig? I couldn't find an option anywhere.

I deposited some money via paypal into my Freelancer balance funds, this didn't help.

You do not have to be payment verified to win a project. Even after getting paid for a project you won't be payment verified. I think you can become payment verified when you deposit funds in your freelancer.com account.

Not sure if it happens when you withdraw funds.

I had already deposited funds in my account, but it seems it took a while to change the status to verified. It now appears verified.
