Need experienced PHP/MYSQL coder to finish script (85% complete)

Hi There,

I need an experienced coder to finish a script that is at 85% complete.

The coder was unable to complete it due to his wife being ill, so I need somebody to finish things off.

It needs: admin panel finishing (only a couple of functions - withdraw/monitor fraud), support ticket system integrating and validation added to all forms, any bugs tested and ironed out.

As I said, the majority of work is done, I just need somebody with an afternoon free. Please submit past works for more information, before you can submit a quote/time scale.

What language are you expecting this programmer to use? PHP, ASP, Perl? If you're using PHP I'd gladly help out. You can see an example of my latest work at www.artihelp.com You can see another example at http://www.runeconnect.com/
Both run with PHP/MySQL and neither are completely finished (especially artihelp), but it should give you a good example.

I have a PHP/Mysql site that is ready for a technique makeover. It was built as a learning tool and has all the usual design and programming mistakes..but it works!

Now interested in cleaning up the errors, making it display better on most browsers (flexible positioning vs hardcoded absolute positioning, etc)

How do you charge for such makeover work?

OK, This job is back open as Matt couldn't do it and I'm still waiting for my $50 deposit back.

The job isn't difficult, but requires an element of skill - please bear this in mind as I have had two people not be able to complete this job now.

As I have looked at the script I do want to let everyone know that being 85% complete is a bad thing. You have to read over every aspect of the script and learn what the last developer did. I noticed a few bugs already on the first page so I soon realized fast I would have to fix a lot of the old code anyways. So in the end you're doing 200% of the script. Dant I don't want to turn people away but they will soon realize this and who knows if they'll refund your deposit. I, although refunded your deposit yesterday. So that was why I wasn't able to pull it off. I could of but didn't feel it was worth $100 and told Dant I felt it was worth more but he declined. Dant was very easy to work with so if you have the time to learn the script it will be easy communication. Good luck.

Matt, you have not refunded my deposit at all, and are no longer making contact with me.

You told me the reason for not being able to do the script was lack of time because of a move - not because you felt the funds were too low, I also do not remember you saying you felt it wasn't worth $100.

I can post all the correspondance up here if you have forgotten.

I would advise anybody out there not to take on Matt until I can confirm he isn't a "ripper", and will take things further with paypal/webmaster-talk if need be as I have been ripped off.

Edit: I have just realised you was online yesterday, so you will have received my PM's - to which I have had no reply.

OK guys, have received the deposit from Matt.

To save more delays/messing about I have managed to find and purchase a 3rd party script that will do the job.
