Create & Install Custom PHP Script.

Hi There,

We are currently designing a new site with a directory of comedians.

What we are looking for is a simple member login page that once logged in, the user can create and update a profle page, with details, photos and maybe a video clip.

Nothing complicated (or expensive) as myspace or anything like that!

we would need the profile pages to only be searched by pages listed from A to Z so no major searches involved.

Any quotes or information would be great.

have you tried utilizing the wordpress blogging script as a content management script? you can add users to that, allow them to make profiles and so forth.

it would be worth a shot - I've gotten so sick of dealing with so many .php files and what not that nowadays I let wordpress do most of the work (coding and management wise). Takes alot of the hassles and stresses out of keeping up with a domain.

Thats very helpful,

i have installed about 6 different profile scripts over the weekend, and after loads of hastle, found that they were just to advanced for what we need.

I'll give word press a go.

after installing this its still not what I'm after.

I want the results pages to be a template, that just the images and text change.
Dont need multiple pages or postings?

Do you wanna be able to upload more then 1 image? Or just 1 image that is shown as the profile picture?
