I am searching for a website administrator for a television station in Portland Oregon.
The job entails:
Managing the new media staff
Working closely with the news department for local content
Working with the sales department on new revenue initiatives
Helping to market and promote the site in innovative ways
Some graphic design work
We want someone who has experience with content management systems and that can also find innovative ways of aggregating hyper local content in a cost effective manner.
This position does need a knowledge of html and website design but that is not the main focus. The site itself has been built and is hosted by an outside vendor.
Media experience is a huge plus.
