I'm looking for some beta testers (50 for now, will increase later) to help me test a
Revenue Sharing forum.
Revenue Sharing means that the forum displays advertisements (Google, Yahoo, or TextLinkAds) and a certain % of the ads displayed on topics by YOU will use YOUR ad code. The more you post, the higher your user rank goes, the higher % you receive.
For example:
Bob registers and enters his google adsense code in his profile. He then proceeds to post a few topics on the forum.
Now, while he is logged in, he will NEVER see his own ads (to prevent click fraud), BUT any other user or guest, will see advertisements on his topic.
Now if, for example, the % for users with posts under 10 is 10%, then 10% of the Ads shown on Bob's topics will be using Bob's adsense code. This means that for each time someone clicks an ad using Bob's adsense code, bob will receive some money (from google, into his adsense account). the other 90% of ads would be using my adsense code, which is the default adsense code.
Rules:
To receive payments you must have a Google Adsense, Yahoo Publisher or TextLinkAds Account. You can create a google adsense account
here.
You must NEVER sign out and click on your own ads.
You must NEVER click on another user's ad unless you are genuinely interested in what is being advertised.
If you SPAM or are found to be clicking Ads fraudulently, you will be BANNED, and your Adsense/Yahoo/TextLinkAds ID will also be BANNED.
How to Apply:
If you think you are interested, please reply here (or PM me) with your email address. I will then invite you to the forum (the forum is invite-only at the moment).
Other Things To Note:
The forum is currently simply hosted on a directory of my blog website. I will decide on a permanent name, and domain name, in the near future (maybe with a vote from my members)
Google Adsense requires a minimum payout of $100. This means you will need to clock up $100 in Ads before you will receive your first check/cheque.
Yahoo's service is US only - So people from outside the US should use Google.
Please reply here if you have any questions/concerns
Edit:
I should add that right now (in the beta phase) all adsharing is set at 50/50, not 10% as in the example above. Once the forum is out of the beta phase, the margins will change, but all beta testers will retain their 50%, no matter what their post count is.
