Hey, I just wanted a basic CMS for my site. Really what I wanted is a cms where you don't have to use their templates. You can make your own and use it. The use I wanted is to put mutible gaming teams on it. For example you have 12 gaming teams on in. I wanted a search page to search for the gaming team. Say your looking for a team called God Gaming. You search and a page comes up saying God Gaming. You can click on the page and it shows a biography of that team. Such as their website url, there roster, there leader and so forth. Is there anyway to just do that without a cms. Like make a search engine so it could just search for the pages that you have created?
I also wanted a User management login. A basic login for users to register, and have a profile and have a page with a list of members on a seperate page. Can someone point me in the right direction or can someone possibly do this for me?

For free?... What you want is too specified. You could mod other CMS's but the searching for game teams thing you could never find anywhere.
Not to mention if you want pros to use your site your site better be pretty professional and the "Powered by so and so CMS" will look just plain crappy not to mention you will be limited by a pre-made CMS.
