When i got my computer AT&T sent me a modem and i followed the directions and hooked it up, it has lasted for over 6 years. Then i bought a laptop and decided that i wanted wi-fi so i bought a refurbished AT&T 2 wire modem without a warranty (bad decision) and i hooked that up with no problem, but after about 8 months it started restarting over and over so i decided to just get a new modem.

Well i went onto Amazon and i bought a Linksys wireless-G broadband router thinking that it was the same thing as my old AT&T 2 wire modem, (because i am stupid) but it wasn't. Now i have a router and i am not sure if i just get a dsl modem and hook it up to my router or what. If anyone can help me figure out what i should get i would appreciate it.
