I'm just in the process of creating my first, very simple custom framework. All I basically want is a selection of helper objects that will make coding on some future projects a lot quicker.

It all works fine at the moment, however I'm just wondering what would be the best method of including the files, for my situation? At the moment I have a series of require_once statements at the top of each file. This wasn't really a problem at first, but as the project grows it's getting a little annoying having to have this big block at the top of each file.

I considered a kind of "master" file that I could include, that would include all my objects, but this would add uneccesary overhead on those I don't use.

What would your suggestions be?

I have a select box, which has option tags in optgroups tags.
Plus I have two checkboxes inputs, whiches are hidden in default.

How can be solve that if I click on the select, after the first optgroup, then only just the first checkbox will appear. And if I click on the second optgroup, then the second checkbox will appear.

I made a code snippet, but it works unfortunately just in Mozilla based browsers. Unfortunately Internet Explorer or Chrome do not execute the event which is in the code snippet...

So we finally launched a new website today. I went into the domain registrar and repointed the nameservers to the new hosting server.

Right away, the new site starting showing up in my browser, so I was like cool, that was fast. However, ever since then, sometimes the site will not load (server not found). It seems to happen at random. Then at random it will appear correctly again?

Is the domain not fully propgated? I always thought once its propogated, your good to go...but maybe Im wrong?

Part 2: How to transfer iPod files to iPod/Computer/iTunes for Mac User

Step 0: Free download iPod to Mac Transfer , install and run it.
All information about your iPod, such as type, capacity, version, serial number, and format, will be shown on the main interface.
Tip: All functions for iPod are applicable to iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS as well except for the photo management.



Step 1: Transfer movies to iPod
Open the library/playlist that you want to transfer.
Click the "Add files to iPod" or "Add Folder to iPod" button.



Step 2: Locate the required audio files on the pop-up dialogbox and click "Open" button to import selected files to your iPod.



Step 3: Edit iPod Playlist
To those who want to create their own personalized iPod Playlist, you can try this function.
Choose the "File -> Playlist" option to create a new list , and then choose the "New Playlist" option from the submenu.
Drag & drop to import or export files need and drag it to the local, or you can choose the file from the local and drag it to the iPod.

I have hosting lined up, domain name registered, logo designed... I have very little css, php experience as a way of making wordpress do what I need for my day job company. I have a friend that does great graphic design but I need the ground work done first.

I would love to pay a pro $2k plus, but I can't afford it right now. A pro recommended that I buy a template and start from there. I have looked at hundreds of templates, and ecommerce cart software, leaving me more and more confused as to which way to go.

Here is what I want:

A clean, lightweight site (no flash.....). Most of the site layout would be simple but I do want a customer to be able to select a piece of furniture and configure it (finish, options...) get a instant quote,
pay in full or 50% deposit,
I would build the piece to order, meanwhile while I build I want the customer to be able to log into a page and be able to see progress photos and text I would upload.

I would love to be able to somehow do this with paypal and/or google checkout as I don't think I need most of the features of magento and such. It's a low volume, low selection, high margin type of business.


Any advice as to what I should do , would be greatly appreciated.

I have been trying for many hours to get a menu list to line up correctly within a containing div. However, it wasn't happening! The list would only position itself below the containing div and not inside it no matter what I tried.
In desperation I aquired someone elses working css and pasted it into mine.
This cleared up the problem! When I stripped out the superfluous code I found the code that I needed was:

PADDING-RIGHT: 0px;
PADDING-TOP: 0px
}

So my question is what does the little * do for me and how does it know what to do. I seem to be able to put it anywhere in my css and it still goes on working! How does it know what to link to? Why can't I just put that info in my containing div? It's all very strange

The problem im having is that now ive set my base href attribute to <base href="www.example.com/" /> my loadFunctions function looks to index.php and not the current page for the functions it triggers.

I found a way around this by changing my base href to <a href="www.example.com/page.php" / > but that created another problem. Now, any pages which contain iframes load twice and any $_GET vars in my url string are wiped after the first load and before the iframe is loaded.

does anybody know of the correct way to use base href, or can somebody point me in the direction of a good tutorial explaining it as ive looked for a couple of days now and can only find limited and repeated info on the tag.
