Hi Guys
I am setting up a shopping cart for my product.

Due to the nature of my product I think most people will just want to buy from me once, so is will not be worth them opening an account.

So do you think I should remove the account option if I can ?

I want to make the buying experience as easy as I can.

As a general rule you shouldn't make anyone open an account in order to make a purchase, however you should always provide the option for people to register an account and also to then login so as to not have to fill out all the cart forms completely every time.

Ideally give people the option when entering the cart to login or purchase as a guest. For everyone who chooses the guest option give them a chance at the end to register an account. You'll have already collected just about all the information you'd need at that point. The only thing you might still need to collect is a password for the account.

If you can give both options, do so.

But if you go along the one off purchasing make ABSOLUTELY SURE that you only ship/deliver physical goods to the address provided and verified by the payment processing provider.

I would do the same. It could be possible that you'd get some returning customers and an account option would allow an easier purchase for anyone who does return.
