Wow
I Have just installed Open Cart.

But I did not realise how important getting a template was.

I have been to some template sites, but they are every hard to navigate.

I want a fairly simple template.

Do you think many Tycoon Talk members make templates so that I could ask for what I want ?

After a bit more research and work, it looks like I can work on the default "layouts" and then maybe get a template later ?

Sometimes it is hard to get ready template for specific requirements. You can always do custom design at any point of time.
You can start with default layout.

Check abantecart. it is has more flexibility on the layout and template.

Yes I think I will work on the default layout.

Opencart is great, but its documentation is non-existant.

They are wasting a lot of peoples time, trying to find out basic tasks.

Or do they take a cut from the template sellers ?

Hi. i have built a few extensions for OpenCart but tend to get along well enough by just using the default theme and creating layouts as and when needed.
I always tweak the main css to suit the brand and products mind.
What documentation are you missing or styling are you missing?

Here is how I think as a marketer not a computer export or graphics expert.

It may be easy to make a new template.

But will it be easy to make a template that attracts buyers ? and gets them to buy.

I think you refer to conversion rate and it is related to usability in the design that goes together with development.

Easy is a relative term. If you an expert in usability it is easy.
