Where are those statistics ? I don't think that online sales are anywhere near brocks and mortar in most products. Otherwise the malls and streets would be empty. I have an online store and would like more cutsomers, but I dont hink online sales will ever replace or catch up to brock sand mortar. People love gong shopping so they can look and socialise and have a coffee or meal after.

The internet (believe it or not) has not flourished enough...Give it 10 to 20 more years.

I 100% agree that every business should be good organized and based on researches and plans from the beginning. The business plan is a MUST. But, nowadays the shopping carts are so easy to install, so the clients think that the online business is piece of cake. I'm really glad when I visit precise targeted e-shop with nice design, qualitative products, interesting and reasonable content and user-friendly features. This is the result when the concept and ideas of the owner of the store meets the full-featured e-commerce software.

There are some who'd want to get informed first before buying something. I prefer those few people who have the patience to browse through article directories for info than those who just type in some keywords in Google lazily and click whatever is shown to them on the first page. Of course, whoever occupies the top of Google will always have the advantage because of the impression of it as an established company, but for starting companies I suggest they invest time in article submission. This is also a very professional way of advertising your company instead of spamming forums. This is also one great way to feed the search engines with fresh content and keywords related to your business. This is what live247support.com does.

The latter has a higher chance of buying from your website if you have high quality, rich in content and keywords articles.

We also must look into the quality of visitors as our target market. People who have the patience to read will most likely read high quality articles and have the higher possibility of becoming customers.

People who read are intelligent and if you can convince them to buy from you then that's a good sign for your business.
