i'm sure that many of you guys own and operate multiple websites. I have a few personal hobby sites. I would like to own some more websites. My question is this, for those of you who own many websites how do you guys manage all off your sites?

For example, I myself, use dreaweaver and frontpage to build my sites. If I were to build / buy maybe 50 more sites does this mean that I need to create 50 different folders for each site?

Thanks

I got a 320 gig hard drive in a computer I just built. One of the first things I did was a 100 gig partition and named it "Web Sites". Inside that partition, I have all of my web sites in their own separate folder. It works for me

also, if you're using Dreamweaver, it would be a good idea to get in the habit of creating Sites within dreamweaver (on the top nav bar, Site > Manage Sites) This way, when you have a web site you want to work on, you can just click a few buttons and DW will have all of your files readily available on the right (or left, depending on your set up)

DW is the best way to go although it decided to wipe all my managed sites settings apart from one recently so I had to set them all up again. I have two main businesses, a personal blog and a football blog that I manage as well as clients websites and DW is certainly made this easier.

It is best that you keep each and every web site separate from each other in different folders, other wise things will be a total mess. And if your using FP you can create different web for each site.
