I own Ads4Auction.com and am currently planning on doing a total overhaul of the website. This includes a new auction script, new site design and a advertising campaign. I'm looking for investors. so, in short, you request people to send you money, without any guarantee you can ever pay them back?

Obviously yes. What do you think an investment is? That's the risk you take when you invest in something. Obviously I'm not going to take their money and run. I have a reputation on these and other forums along with my site. Anyone who provides me with funding will receive updates every so often so they can know where there money is going. They will also have input in the site.

Reputation, and the promise of being kept up-to-date as regard site developments, mean absolutley nothing when it comes to looking for potential investors.

Your offer of a $32.50 return for a $25 investment isn't exactly inviting on it's own, so:

How much investment do you actually need?
How much will the scripting/design work/advertising cost?
How does the site make money?
What are the site's functions?
What are your current sale/revenue levels?
How do you intend to keep interest in the site high?
What are your predictions for the future?
Who will be in charge of the day-to-day running of the site, and in what capacity?

Any business person worth their salt will want answers to the questions above before even considering investing in a company. Otherwise, they're playing it blind.

Hey guys, I suggest you quit attacking me. Those who have expressed interest through EMAIL like I have asked will have those questions answered and more in the business model and other information I provide. You guys had no right coming in here and attacking me like this. You are trying to make me seem less reliable to those interested. Go flame someone else trolls. I don't even know why I still post on these forums.

That's why I said MINIMUM investment.

Nobody is attacking you they are just asking questions on why we should part with our hard earned cash
