Hi Harro,
I tried your cash and your emote links, and both took a long time without anything appearing on my screen.
Is that becuase you're changing servers???
I was keen to see if you drew/created the emoticons yourself.
Brilliant, actually!!!!
If you have a place that a link to my site would fit, I'd appreciate it --
check your fingernails!!!!

The way i see it is that an online business has alot more potential then a business on the corner of the street, because an online business has the potential for the whole world to see it and buy but the store on the corner of the street is only limited to the ppl in that area. Am I wrong here?
I'm only 17 barely going to start college but my plan is to live off the site i'm working on which i'll be done with in about a month selling electronics and mostly the accessories. I no making money online will take time but I don't no i think i can do it. Then after i graduate with my business economics degree from UCLA i'll start my own home building business and hopefully build a site for that company 2.
So is running an online business harder or easier then a store on the corner of a street? which makes more money on average?

Hi Mystic,
I think you've scoped it out pretty well.
I agree with you that on-line has way more potential.
I've only earned (in terms of actual checks) $61 in somewhat over a year. But, that's money I could not have earned anywhere else because I have a disability and because I've been sick and confined to bed since last October.
I do think that there is tremendous potential for people who have site-businesses that deal with the sites themselves...
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Appreciate it.

Hi Harro,
I'm not good at messenger and things.
You seem like a very energetic person, I think things will go really well for you
Thank you for writing.
I'm in the US, but I used to live in Islington. A long time ago.
I hope things are going really well for you!!!!

After a year it looks like this month I will hit $1,000 income. This is still well below my aims but I have acheived this with a lot of work. I have searched through countless ad schemes and selected the best ones for me and finally it looks like I have a good combination going on.
I own a multiplayer gaming website, which attracts high volumes of traffic, because of this I feel there is still a lot more earning potential solely from adverts. However, due to the time needed to set up these games and optimise them I am unable to maximise its potential just yet. Once the monthly income matches my current wages I will be able to pack in the day job and finally put in the work it needs.
If you want to earn a living from your site you need to invest a lot of time and money and take a lot of risks. There is no written guide to how you will achieve this everytime, as its impossible. Only thing you can do is search for advertising schemes that best fit your site and trial them all, some will work and most wont. But the biggest factor is getting users to visit your site. Without this there will be no one to view the adverts and no money coming in from them.

my goal is to make about 1,000 - 5,000 dollars a month on my websites while i'm in college and in 4 years when i graduate hopefully it'l be enough money to give a good down payment on a nice condo. Or if i make 5k a month i'll invest my money in a condo. Because my ultimate goal after college would be to start my home building business it'll give me somewhat of an experience. And once i start my business that's where the money is because every house i sell i make like 200 thousand dollars cash in my hand!! My plan is to sell about 4 houses per year 5 years after i graduate which would make me 1 million a year, and i think i'll be fine with that! Can't wait!

Wow, your site is really nice looking. It is sooo cool. Did you do the bowling art work?
Your top ad, as an aside, is not displaying. It says something about how it has to be embedded in a web page.
I love the way your site looks.
You have just massive numbers of visitors.
I'm still in the "delighted at 200 hits a day" stage...
and until I get a forum, I don't have much in return visitors...
Wow, I am very impressed!!!!
So I supposed I can't get you to put a link to my site on yours because if people went to learn something about health, it would reduce your revenue...????

Mystic, your site idea is dynamite... but I take it you didn't actually spot very many... I clicked on several categories and only exotic dancer costumes had a listing... I'm a bit old now, so that wasn't up my alley...

$1000 a month took me around a year to reach that point. That was with a gaming related website. Took a lot of patience but once earning $$$$ it seemed worth all the work.

The first 1 thousand is the toughest (took me about two years to reach that level but then again I didnt know hardly any SEO at that time either). To get from 1 thousand to 5 thousand is easier and then to get from 5 thousand to 10 thousand+ is even easier again. Once you "get it" and figure out what works and what doesnt you simply do it over and over again.
Only deal with programs that are worthwhile. I know that's vague, but I general only deal with programs that have AT LEAST 40% payout. I don't mess with nickels and dimes or anything under $10 a sale or lead. SEO + Keyword Research (don't always go for the toughest keyword) + High Paying program + diversification (dont put all your eggs in one basket) = $$$

Tim you mentioned that after you learn what works and what doesn't it will be easier to make money. Could you please tell us what you did exactly and what programs you used so we all benefit. I personally want to know what you did so i could maybe do the same or get some idea's.

I'm building traffic pretty well.
I thought I'd have a forum, and put Google ads there...
because I don't want to have Google ads where I want people to be reading B12 info...
But the owner of a different forum said it cost $90 a month because of the band width he needs, and he only gets ... darn it, I forget, but something like ... I don't remember. But he has huge traffic. Whereas I tend to think of 200 hits a day as spectacular...
I don't think I quite have the right mind set.
You know, it's amazing to me: this guy who was quite the fraud (he's in jail now waiting for trial for writing $30,000 of checks on a "trust" account he set up for someone) He also had 43 cases against him in the city he came from...
Okay, so he put up a web site offering some jewellry... and he made way over a thousand the first month... but he had no intention of ever filling the orders...
and as far as I know, didn't fill any...
Oh dear...
