Before I embark on what for many is just another ordinary week but which, purely by choice, I have set down as a solid week of major commercial progress, I want to invite other likeminded people in similar positions to get together, if not in concrete business terms at this time, at least in spirit.

We are the community of electronic entrepreneurs, grown out of the aftermath of the first "e-commerce boom" a full decade before the impending property and bank collapse (which WE all knew was coming and preached to the idiots, but did they listen? oh no? with their gambling forums and political sites, all they cared about was politics, money, and keeping US down, to prevent the natural rise of neo-efficiency businesses which totally carve up the old world of pre-internet commerce).

We, in this community, need to seize this moment, each of us, as firmly as possible. The scene is clear to see - countless scum, falling down the money ladder, all around us, from salaried slaves to top-of-the-line bankers and landowners - all of them savaged like so much grass in a field of cows, and some of those cows are your and my best friends, like Google, or William of Microsoft.

Even Apple and its ipod has turned from the tool of the minority geeks (that's you and me, my friends) to a consumer trend spanning billions of users, drawing in cash for OUR friends, Mr Jobs and his mates, so they can help us, the geeks, continue our parade of electronic progress, a part of human history more significant than even early arable farming.

Stand tall, because our enemies are fierce, have no morals, have nothing to lose, will throw all the worst possible **** at us, and try and ruin this, OUR TIME, our great moment to change human history, create things like global free ideal healthcare, totally representative network driven democracy, real democracy, no need for unrepresentatives to be voted in. The people can make choices, barristers and judges can help the global jury come to its decision, nothing more.

Whatever you do, please don't work with the scum, don't spam, don't sell the rubbish which we all know is a waste of money, just work with the progressive part of the new world of business and keep your business clean. When you have seen how many people have been savaged by "credit crunch" (aka massive bloody financial ruin) because they thought it okay to carry on some business which, if they searched in their soul, they knew to be immoral.

And remember that there is no better weapon or tool of commerce than knowledge, of technology - of how to build and run the machines we use. The bluffers, almost invariably spammers, hover in the void, never learning to use machines properly, never becoming part of the development of them. Never helping move forwards, only stealing from the great god of our times, Silicon Chip.

So, in the name of Chip, let us now MILK IT, like so many dairy farmers.

I am doing well in global retail and have inadvertently fallen into a new project, to create a global electronic security firm, yes my friends I am about to create a truly military installation on earth - electronic security is vital, and doing it requires the greatest strength possible - for war has only one possible weapon more deadly than the Nuclear Bomb... and that would be the hacker.

And so, I take off my hat to you, the powerful people of our times, newly powerful, and you don't even know it yet. Work hard. Don't waste this summer. We can take away BILLIONS from our enemies this summer.

May I finally offer some advice on "trends" to "cash in on"...

remember that spam and other internet crime is always attached to short term trends - if you always focus on the longterm you'll never be anywhere near that spam, and your days will be very pleasant.

Auf Wiedersehen. I'm off to read an entire Linux book in the parks of London, since I have enough beer to do so - cider actually, which is my preferred drink. Do what you have to do also. Get on top of everything.

I respect that, but I know it will all continue as long as the world goes round...You will make money legitimately while others will take it all away from you, but hey...When one door closes, another one will open...Make the best of it!
