Well that's 3 or the big 4 online merchant's right there. If you are looking purely for credit card merchant's you could go with Authorize.net they are very solid and have good pricing. Or you could try a SearchFit merchant account

Not going with PayPal is definitely a good idea... As searchfit said, Authorize.net is a reliable, but they are just a gateway - you still would need a merchant account. I own a few retail businesses as well as an e-com website and I use Bank Associates Merchant Services - they are backed by Wells Fargo (one of the few banks to survive the economic collapse...) and I get my money no later than 24 hours after I process sales. Their website is: www.bams.com.

Good luck!

Hi, I would suggest you put your location down as some merchant providers dont support all countries. Google checkout is very good and you can get discounts on transactions if you link your adwords account together. However again you will not be entirely secure just like paypal.

I have also heard that 2checkout and CCNOW are also good but do not have any personal experience. If your in the uk then nochex might be worth looking into.

You could try payment gateways in your country or third party payment processors.

Hi
I would go with one of the 3rd party - like Worldpay, Gate2Shop, and others
They offer good prices, world wide coverage, and plenty of payments options
try them
I have used both of them - good service, stable, good prices.
