Hello folks - its been a while, so I dont want to screw up on my first post back! Im looking at cubecart for an e-com solution for a new client, where would be the most appropriate place to ask other users about their experience with this? -

Thanks in advance!

Thank you Chris for popping me in the right place - much appreciated!

OK - Previously Ive always used a company I helped bug find for many years back - it was a flash based program which integrated with paypal waaay back in 2000.

I have a new client who wants to set up an e-com site to sell equestrian goods. The client does not (yet) have an internet merchant account (& I've never advised on one) Ive trawled through so many options, & had thought that "cubecart" with PayPal Pro might be the most cost effective option for this client. The client does have a very secure target market, & on eBay is already clearing quite a sum per month. This is my first foray into an e-com other than my own, & all advice, experiences (not just with "cubecart" - but anything anyone has used) - would be so appreciated.

I downloaded the 30day trial of the above, & uploaded all files onto the back of my own website - but the host I run my own wee site from didnt have everything it needed. So, Im a bit lost. (I did download & then upload everything suggested - but this site wont be hosted with my guy).

If anyone could suggest a decent (very customisable) paid for solution which might allow me a flash header, with several payment gateways - Id be very grateful!

Thanks in advance,
scotia
