Hello, I have a new forumsite and am looking for inexpensive ways to market the site to increase the number of members to my site! Any suggestions would be helpfull. Since its a free site for posters obviously how much I am willing to spend on advertising is limited.

I would post topics and threads in other forums like this one, and find creative ways to link back that would entice the reader (like me) to want to actually click on your link. To get people to actively use your forum, you need "forum people" who are already used to using forums and enjoy doing so. What better place to start than another forum?
