Is there any way to tell if a sites a scam site or not? I want to buy some anabolics but do not know if I should trust the site selling them.

This question would also help me in the future with buying leads and products to sell.

try googling sitename + scam/ripoff/etc and see what comes up

I do this even with sites I do trust with my financial info, I want to know the negative experiences of others before doing business.

OTOH, if the site is selling something that's illegal, then it is probably a scam

You might want to try a sample package, say under $10. So if it doesn't arrive you haven't really lost anything. I would follow up by taking the arriving package to a pharmacist at a drug store and tell them you ordered it through the mail or internet and that you wanted to make sure it was what you ordered. You don't want to be receiving something that could kill you.

Hard to say just by looking at the site, I think willcode4beer suggestion about googling for information about the site is the best solution.

If the site has 'this is not a scam' written anywhere on it, that's usually a good indicator that it infact is.

Do you have a link to the site you're talking about so we can see?

In my experience most online shops are legit and those which aren't tend to be obviously not.

But I wouldn't put my credit card details into a website which didn't have https:// rather than http:// on the page thats asking for it.

If there is the classic internet squeeze page, I generally hit the back button right away.

I don't think I'd personally ever trust a shopping site unless it had the correct security certificates and had a phone number which you can ring or depot you can go to.
