Hi, I have a moderately successful city guide website for an obscure location in China. I would like to add hotel reservations to my site. However, it's difficult to find the software to interface with the hotel reservation master system. I have found packages that cost $300 and others that cost $10,000.
My question: - What is this category of reservation software called? It would help with my searching. For example, Joomla and PHPnuke are called "Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Has anyone here used such software?
- What do you recommend?
Obviously, I don't want to spend a lot of money, and equally as obviously, I don't want a shoddy solution. However, I don't even know the right questions to ask. My website runs on BSD/apache, and I use Drupal, if that makes a difference. |
