Depending on what type of e-items you’ll be delivering, there may be a few options. For example, if you were to sell ‘e-books’, you could use a shopping cart solution like a few people in this thread have suggested. This would allow the consumer to choose what they wanted to purchase and then be delivered a link to download the item upon payment. You could also create a library of the items and secure them in a members/secure area that could only be accessed if someone pays. To put this in perspective, you could have ten e books and charge someone X amount to access all 10 books for a predetermined period of time, i.e., 30 days, 2 moths, whatever you’d like. This could be set up as a recurring charge so the consumer is automatically charged each period for as long as they wish to view the items. E-books may not be the best example for this model but I think it illustrates another way you can sell e-items.
As you can see, you have options.
