Conversion depends on how well you target the right audience. I suggest you focus more on marketing campaigns that will reach your desired audience. You can start by building quality backlinks through submission to directories, classified postings, forum posts on similar niche (through forum sigs), etc.

You seem to be taking a passive approach. People that visit your sight might have found it because they're reseaching flag history or just landed by accident. If it were me, this is what I would do. Think of who buys flags. For example schools. Go to Google and find school directories like this one:

Then go to www.rentacoder.com and request a bid from guy in a developing country who's willing to spend hours searching through each of these sites for almost nothing. So for example, from the directory, they might look up Merrill High School

And find the email addresses like louise.fischer@maps.k12.wi.us

Make sure you have the bidder record for you the URL the email address came from.

Then once you have the list, send a simple and personal solicitation to each through an automated campaign that explains how your product is better or cheaper.

Now the people that visit your site are those actually interested in buying.

There are many problems in your site in reference of selling online. I get my living by selling products online, if you want, I can help you out. In return, I only want you to test what I suggest you to test.

Most people do not understand a thing about selling online, to most people traffic is all that counts but in reality traffic is not the important thing. The important thing is your conversion rate, how many per cent of your visitors you can convert to customers.

Nice site, I am thinking about buying a flag from that site

Yer.. The average guy isn't going to just decide they want to buy a flag. I guess that sounds sort of er.. Un-patriotic but it is very true. Crazy put you on the PERFECT path. You really need to get bulk deals going through schools. Well not just schools but churches (for instance there's a church puts up a few million flags a few times a year), government agencies, etc. Are you making the flags or just reselling? If you're reselling I don't think this will be a very profitable idea because this means your bulk deals are gone because there will always be a few guys cheaper than you.

not going to lie, your layout looks somewhat amatuerish in firefox. idk if thats a problem but your banner is awesome... You may want to redesign the buttons on the left and remove the 2nd set of links below the first paragraph.

and further down the page, the 'blowout sale' too big of a link. you should consider replacing it with a graphic.
