Well www.freenetname.co.uk used to offer FREE .co.uk domain domain names. Last time I checked they had stopped doing that but maybe that was just temporary....

I registered www.perfect-dark.co.uk for free, then decided not to make the site lol....

I went through the whole process at getfreedomains.biz and got nothing. I contacted them repeatedly to ask why my account was not earning points despite the fact that I registered for all kinds of crap. They never contacted me back.

getfreedomain.biz has alot of hidden smallprint, you will only start getting points for the people you refer once they also have a minimum of 10 points, in total you need to refer around 60 people that sign up.

http://www.za.net also offer free third level domains of za.org and za.net

I like http://www.whyi.org

They let you get a free .yi.org subdomain and allow you to change the nameservers. I then use http://www.zoneedit.com so I can easily setup mail etc.

Http://www.shorturl.com - Free redirection with a nice control panel which has an option to auto submit to 20+ search engines and stat tracker etc. They do yours.vze.com yours.2ya.com yours.shorturl.com yours.filetap.com etc. What I use to use, very good and fast. They say you need a link but you don't.
