Well, I haven't registered any domains myself, but I must say that if I could, I'd probably choose GoDaddy. I tried signing up a month ago, and it didn't accept my credit card. Oh well...
BTW, if your domain registrar is not listed, please post telling us which one you do use.
BTW, free domains do not count! The free .tk domains aren't even domains at all.

I use www.Directnic.com
While they are a little more expensive ($15 per year), I am comfortable with the process and features they have.
If I was buying domains in bulk, I would probably use someone else though. (I own about 12 domains).

I don't like Register.com. The services are limited. I had to use their URL redirect service and had to pay $10 more not to have their ad on the site.
I like DirtCheapDomain.com. It is $9.95 (after 3 years) and they offer all the same services that Register provides.
For the same money wasted on Register for a single year, you can get 3 at DirtCheapDomain.com.
GoDaddy also has very good service.

Hi,
I agree 100% with you. I don't like Register.com at all. Their deals aren't great compared to most domain registrars. However, I felt obliged to include them, since they are so popular. I know so many websites that use them, so I guess I really have no choice.
Chief, I would change the poll if I were you. Perhaps you could replace something like MyOstrich with DirectNIC. I've heard of them, and I've heard good comments too. They just slipped my mind when I made the poll.

BTW, I voted GoDaddy, since I will be registering a domain with them soon. They really seem like a great choice.
Oh, and what's up with that "I\\\'ve" in the second-to-last option?

I use Registerfly.com. They charge $9.99 and sometimes send you a coupon for $1.00 off.

I use 123 Reg as they offer one of the cheapest prices (with support if needed, which is important) for .co.uk domains. The prices for other domains probably aren't as competative as others, but as it supports my local domains and the main generic ones, I can keep all my domain names together.

I've used Directnic the most, but have used several others.
There are some very good and competitively priced services now.

With Jane on this one..
Registerfly.com very nice admin panel..transfer domains to buyers on a dime..
Servers are still a bit on the slow side..but for everything they offer ..well worth a few seconds delay

I posted a few days ago that I use Registerfly.com. Well, after waiting nearly 3 weeks for a domain to be registered, I have decided that I don't care at all for their customer service. Since I pay by money order, I can expect some wait time, but, what used to be under a week, has now been almost 3 weeks. I have written to them several times, with no results. If I ever get this squared away, I'll post again to let you know how they handle this for me.

I just wanted to say that Registerfly.com got everything squared away for me. They even honored a coupon I had, making registration $8.50 instead of $9.99. Guess I can't hold them responsible for the postal system being slow. So...I'm happy, again.

I used to use Easyspace, but they were ripping me off badly... £17 to register a name (used to be £11), plus an extra £7 to configure the nameservers!
I switched to GoDaddy, much better deal!
