I have a .com & co.uk domain with 123reg.co.uk they want £28 to renew both for 2 years.

Is there a better deal I could get how easy is it to the transfer them to someone else.

fairly simple, you will receive an auth. code from your current registrar and then you will accept the changes in your new domain control panel. Each registrar that you are transferring to, will offer a simple wizard to do this.
