i have to register a domain ... so i was looking on few sites ... and got confused ... why is there such a large difference in the money they charge ... same domain one site is selling for 6$ other selling it for 15$ .... does this extra money will matter ??? or should i go for the lowest one ....
moreover there is a site and they say they will charge me 8$ for a domain and if i want my name and address and other stuff to be hidden 5$ more now what is this ... isnt my name and address will be kept private in simple registration ????

thank you

i'd say go with a trusted registrar like eNom, godaddy, moniker, or namecheap (yes, I know namecheap is a reseller)
If you need a whois protection (privacy whois) then namecheap is the cheapest, you'll get a free private registration with new registration.
Avoid using godaddy private registration, since you will need to disable it when you wanted to do transfer, then wait for 60 days after that to do a transfer.

well...i would ask you the same question...if you buy an item at wallmart for a lower price is it the same quality as you would get if you buy a similar item of a name brand.

if you answerd "yes, it's more or less the same" then buy your domain for the cheapest price you can find.

if you think there is a differance you are probably right!

i suggest you try namesRlimited to register your domain names. they have a very good price and the best 24/7 service. with many free extras

click on the link to find out more.
