Does anyone know what the highest price for a domain name has been and what it was?

I'm sure I read somewhere a while ago about most expensive domains. I seem to remember the highest was sex.com which sold for several million. Just did a wee search and creditcard.com sold for nearly $3million. Interesting topic...

That can't possibly be right, because that domain sucks. It's alright, but I'm sure anybody with 24 million dollars to spend would find a much better investment for their money
