ANNOUNCING:ICANN 'REVEAL DAY'

On this day, ICANN, had revealed a whole list of new gTLD applicants, and here is the link to them...

http://newgtlds.icann.org/en/program...utc-13jun12-en

LETS TALK ABOUT....

Which ones have a fair chance of getting through?

Are there any good ones in there?

Would members of this forum be 'keen to get such domains', as those listed here in this list.

Or anything else related to this topic.

One thing I find interesting is....

....There are two columns, one for 'Geograpical' and another for 'Community'.

However, they needed to have one for 'Brand' too.

SUCH A LOT OF brand TLDs
Such a lot of them do seem to be of a brand. From ABC, to LEGO, and AFL.

A number of Australian banks are each trying to take their share of TLDs.

gTLDs

There are a lot with more than one applicant. For such as .auto, .blue, .book, .chat, .web

Quite a lot of applicants each for .inc, .llc, .love, .ltd, .shop,

The ones where the applicants have sufficient funds and technical backing to build and support the infrastructure required to make any new TLD work.

There is a very interesting Infographic going around that lets you get an overview of the strings.
