Being new to the actuall internet world the choice of choseing the right domain name is quite tedius.

This is wat am experiencing at the moment and am looking for some expert advises on this topic. Am willing to learn from others therefore it would be honored to hear your reply.
Dose choosing the right domain name:
1. Have to do with traffic
2. Let your website looks more profesional

The best thing to do is just pick a name you like and a name that goes well with what your site is about and you will be fine.

Just registered domain name does not have any traffic. If you want it to have some - do something about it.
Your web design and content will create imagination about your web site, not your domain name.

While choosing a good domain name is something most people run after these days, the major concerns for somebody must be the website's design and the information provided by the website. Also some SEO is a must for promoting the website in the wild.

SEO does not depend on the domain name at all.
The domain name should be as short as possible and that must be easy to remember.

I also suggest you to choose the name which is related to your business, if someone just look at the name he/she knew what they are going to see, best of luck

Don't try to stuff your domain names with keywords. Trust me, from experience it does not work. I own free-website-hosting-now.com and having that domain hasn't gotten me any extra traffic, and is a handful to type. Since it brings no extra traffic I will probably switch to a new domain name, something shorter.

So the rule is short, easy to spell, and easy to remember. Follow those three rules and you are golden.

I haven't said that at all, you misunderstood me.
I was saying that a name isn't anything when it comes to creating a new website from 0.

Short and easy to remember, look at the busiest domains these days, what did words like google, youtube and yahoo mean 12 years ago...

I think using some digits inside will make such domain names more catchy.
Just have seen some nice domain names with digits in the previous thread.

What you must have in mind when you are try to get a domain name is:
1. The domain name must be easy to remember
2. It must be as short as possible. The short the better to remember and the short the more search engine friendly.
3. The name must relate to the business, e.g use your top keyword for the domain, it is a plus in search engine. A good example is themedicalplus.com
4. For commercial site .com is the best, because it sell best than any other domain.
