I have a website that is very popular in brazil called scrapee.net
The problem is that someone told me that in english both "scrap" and "pee", are no good words.

Before creating this name I didn't search it's meaning.

So, now, I'm in doubt if I need to change the website's name, or not, because I want to make it popular in other countries, too.

So what's your opiniou about it?

there is also "crap", "rap", "scrape" & "rape" in there

If it's popular and well known in your own country why are you going to change it because you imagine people will see something else?

Very often that's the only thing that make them memorable.

Do you think it bothers expertsexchange,com, pen island.com (no space) or therapist.com ??

Any association would be useful to avoid. That should me the short summary of your content. I suppose that should be your AIM

In my mind, Scrapee goes back to the disease the preceeded Mad Cow Disease in England. It was a brain degeneration disease the led to Mad Cow. Not many American's would see the "pee" in scrapee, but the reference to a debilitating disease might not be good.
