With 301s you almost always lose some of the link juice, though most will eventually transfer. In this case Google might see the new ownership on page2.com and decide the purchase was made just for the links and perhaps not transfer all the link juice. Since the sites are on the same topic it should work in your advantage.
My guess is most of the links will transfer in time, though some will be lost.
You may want to redirect the pages a little at a time instead of all at once. That will let you see if the link juice is pointing to the old site and how long it's taking. You could also leave the links pointing to page2.com and then have the pages of that site link to page1.com. Not quite as good as having all the different sites linking to page2 linking to page1, but it doesn't risk anything in the 301s.
