I haven't had any info domain names with me and I'm certain they are not really popular and worth to invest in

Agreed, .info names are cheap, but I haven't had as much success as .com names. Besides, the price is about the same when it comes time to renew. So, I'm sticking to .com or possibly .net for me.

Sometimes you moved to use INFO domain name because in the COM and NET that domain name prefix is not availible

Google doesn't like .info meaning that they don't rank them too high in web searches.

Do not buy .info domains, especially for SEO. They are less authoritative from a consumer standpoint, they are horrible ranking in google, and as someone mentioned above they cost you just as much for anything other than the first year. But after the first year, you'll realize its not worth even keeping.
Redtube.info may be valuable for novelty purposes

Agree, there are still some great .info names available and I've found them a good alternative if the .com one I'm after isn't available, nearly always the .info one is.
too soon to tell for .info. The few I own rank fine in google, just trying to market them better. For seo it has to be content though, ranking on top level domain extension, that doesn't make any sense. Not sure if anyone is making any money w/ a .info just yet.
