Is there a way around paying for private registration when registering a domain name? Are there any tricks or tips to keep my info private without paying extra for it?

Also...

I am leaving Godaddy because they overcharged me and are being jerks about some things. Does anyone know of another domain registration company that doesn't suck?

Thanks for the help!

I suppose that would be enough to find domain name registrar which will offer that for free to you.

There are several domain registrars are there who provides free private registration. Private registration refers to the whois protection.

Here are some example, name.com, directi.com, etc
