It is difficult for me to understand how a parked domain with no updates can make significant money without regular updates. I have seen the parked domain offers from Google and GoDaddy. Althought they do put up ads and share the revenue with the owner, I would not imagine much traffic without good, regularly updated content, unless these domains were really, really good.
Anyway, maybe this is just my way of thinking because of all the hard work most of us have put into setup and content for our sites.
